Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fiber optic termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include identifying fiber cable types, tracing fiber pathways, building fusion splice cassettes and splice trays, and interpreting fiber diagrams, drawings, and manufacturer documentation. Candidates should be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality.

Skills and Requirements

2-3+ years of hands-on fiber optic technician experience

Experience with fiber termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting

Ability to identify fiber types and trace fiber pathways

Experience reading and interpreting fiber diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer documentation

Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills

Valid driver's license and ability to work in the field Fiber certifications (FOA, CFOT, BICSI, etc.)

Fusion splicing and OTDR testing experience

Telecommunications, structured cabling, or low-voltage background
