Insight Global is seeking a Lead HVAC Mechanic for a leading facilities management client. This individual will operate at a journeyman level, handling complex HVAC systems across a critical environment while also taking on leadership responsibilities. The role involves not only hands-on technical work-such as installation, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance-but also mentoring technicians, assigning work orders, and ensuring all systems meet strict operational requirements. Skills and Requirements
- EPA Universal Certification
- One of the following HVAC certifications:
○ Journeyman HVAC
○ NATE HVAC Service Technician
○ UA Star HVAC Mastery Certification
○ TDLR A/C Refrigeration Technician Certification - Prior experience leading or mentoring junior HVAC technicians
- Experience in government or highly regulated facilities
- Strong familiarity with HVAC control systems
- Welding and fabrication experience
