Install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode) in active data center environments
Work with LC and MPO fiber connectors for high-performance network connectivity
Dress, route, and organize cables using proper wire-management standards, including ladder racks and cable trays
Rack and stack network switches, servers, and additional data center hardware
Accurately label all cables and components to maintain clean documentation and organization
Read and interpret data center layouts, rack elevations, network diagrams, and technical blueprints
Ensure all work follows industry standards for quality, safety, airflow, and reliability
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in data centers or similar technical environments
Proven experience installing Cat6 and fiber optic cabling (pre-terminated experience preferred)
Familiarity with LC and MPO connectors
Working knowledge of telecom and data networking infrastructure
BICSI, lift certifications, and OSHA training are a plus
Must have basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and workmanship
Willingness to travel locally within Wisconsin as needed
