Our client, a leader in manufacturing equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Field Service Engineer Automotive Mechanic to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer Automotive Mechanic, you will be part of the technical support department supporting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization. This position has up to 60% domestic travel in 2 week bursts along with a 2 month training in Asia.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer Automotive Mechanic

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $22-$28/hr DOE plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

• Perform installation, assembly, and commissioning of advanced manufacturing systems at semiconductor and other manufacturing facilities

• Conduct system testing, calibration, and qualification procedures to ensure optimal performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during installation and operation

• Collaborate closely with customer engineers and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to installation and maintenance activities

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, or field service of automotive equipment or experience as a mechanic or automotive service technician

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals is desired but not required

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a positive attitude

• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive is preferred
