Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a large, fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production equipment while leading a skilled maintenance team in support of plant operations.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
Direct, coach, and develop a team of maintenance professionals across multiple shifts.
Partner with production and plant leadership to support operational goals and production schedules.
Oversee troubleshooting and repair efforts involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness.
Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, work orders, and inventory through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and outside contractors.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and equipment installations as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams in a high-volume production setting.
Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment and manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of CMMS platforms, maintenance planning, and reliability best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
