What You'll Be Responsible For
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations for a complex manufacturing environment that includes automated production and packaging equipment. You will lead a skilled maintenance team while ensuring equipment uptime, employee safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing facility
Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Oversee troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems
Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime through continuous improvement initiatives
Support installation, startup, and optimization of new production equipment
Manage maintenance projects, capital improvements, and equipment upgrades
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards
Review maintenance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reporting
Collaborate with operations leadership to maximize production performance
Qualifications
Required
6+ years of maintenance management experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership experience managing maintenance personnel and plant maintenance operations
Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting expertise
Experience working with:
Three-phase motors
120V-480V electrical systems
PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Automated production and packaging equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Food, bakery, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience
PLC programming and advanced controls troubleshooting
Boiler and steam system experience
Robotics and automation experience
TIG and Stick welding experience
Bilingual Spanish communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
