The Maintenance Manager leads all plant maintenance and reliability activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. This role oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel and budgets, drives continuous improvement through root cause analysis and Six Sigma practices, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The position also leads capital projects, supports equipment reliability and production goals, and partners with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Direct and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production goals.
Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planners, and MRO Supervisor.
Develop team capabilities and ensure effective workforce utilization.
Oversee capital projects including technical specifications, vendor selection, project justification, implementation, and commissioning.
Support equipment installation, modification, and upgrades.
Conduct root cause analyses of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Utilize Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance plant performance and reduce maintenance costs.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and governmental regulations related to safety, health, environmental, waste management, and recycling.
Participate in incident and near-miss investigations and support corrective action implementation.
Prepare and submit maintenance, capital spending, and performance reports.
Support development and review of JSAs, SOPs, and other maintenance documentation.
Bachelor of Science Degree - Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred) or 15 years+ progressive experience within industrial/manufacturing maintenance may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
10+ years progressive industrial manufacturing experience
Maintenance management experience with working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment and procedures.
Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations is required.
Ability to solve problems and achieve goals with minimal supervision. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are a must. Previous supervisory experience is desired. Excellent team player with ability to motivate a team and facilitate improvement.
Strong computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications. Background in statistical methods, Six-Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
Necessary skills to manage all aspects of high-level projects in manufacturing environments.
SAP experience a plus

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $102,000.00 to $158,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $115,260.00 to $178,540.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
