Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Pay: up to $115,000
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to efficiently manage maintenance work orders, schedules, and inventory. The ideal candidate will coordinate with purchasing for parts, negotiate with contractors, and ensure safe maintenance practices. This role involves using the Upkeep Maintenance Management System, supporting capital projects, and maintaining equipment records.
Responsibilities
Receive, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders and track their progress.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, tracking progress and effectiveness.
Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate with purchasing for parts ordering.
Negotiate with contractors and vendors for reasonable pricing and correct work scope.
Communicate priorities, delays, updates, and work order completion to the maintenance and operations teams.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and downtime.
Establish and maintain correct scorecard measurables for each quarter.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely.
Support root cause analysis of safety incidents.
Utilize Upkeep Maintenance Management System to manage work orders and assets.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance team.
Support capital projects and equipment installations.
Essential Skills
Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance management.
Proficiency in preventive maintenance, scheduling, and planning.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Competence in safety practices and maintenance supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education or practical experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing field.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Effective priority management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience and understanding of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
