Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in supporting production equipment, robotic cells, and facility systems. This role involves ensuring maximum equipment uptime, driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and leading a team of technicians across shifts.
Responsibilities
Supervise and schedule maintenance technicians across shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for production support.
Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts on production equipment, including robotic cells, presses, vision systems, laser welding, electrical, pneumatics, sensors, and automated systems.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to prioritize maintenance activities based on plant needs.
Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures for all maintenance and repair work.
Track and analyze equipment downtime data to identify recurring issues and drive root cause corrective actions.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for parts and services.
Mentor and develop maintenance technicians, supporting training and skills growth.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and process improvement projects.
Participate in daily production meetings and communicate maintenance status/priorities.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive supplier experience strongly preferred.
2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with robotic cells and automated manufacturing equipment.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of LOTO and industrial safety standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including off-shift support as needed.

Work inside a newer automotive manufacturing facility. The position operates on a shift from 6:30am to 4pm.
