Pay Rate: $35.00/hour + Overtime Available
About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Structured Cabling Technician III professionals to support the installation and buildout of low-voltage infrastructure within a large-scale manufacturing environment. This project is focused on new structured cabling installations supporting ongoing facility expansion and infrastructure upgrades.
Technicians will work alongside an established infrastructure team, supporting copper and fiber cabling installations in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on cabling professionals looking to gain experience in a large-scale enterprise environment while working on high-profile infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Pull, route, dress, label, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage copper cabling
Pull, route, and safely handle fiber-optic cabling
Install and organize cabling within cable pathways, including:
Cable trays
J-hooks
Ladder racks
Conduits
Overhead pathways
Support patch panel installations, rack buildouts, IDF/MDF environments, and related infrastructure
Perform cable testing and validation using industry-standard testing equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cabling documentation
Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled installations
Work from lifts and elevated work platforms at heights up to 25 feet
Follow all safety, PPE, and quality standards
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and other trades on-site
Complete additional low-voltage infrastructure tasks as project demands evolve
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with structured cabling installations
Experience performing:
Copper cable pulling
Cable routing
Termination
Testing
Troubleshooting
Experience with fiber-optic cable pulling and routing
Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
Experience working from lifts and elevated platforms
Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable transportation and ability to consistently report for early morning shifts
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of structured cabling experience preferred
Experience with:
Fluke cable testing
Fiber testing
Cable documentation and labeling
IDF/MDF buildouts
Equipment racks and patch panels
Cable trays, ladder racks, and J-hooks
Blueprint and construction drawing interpretation
OSHA 10 Certification
Scissor lift and aerial lift experience
Work Environment
This position is fully on-site within a large active manufacturing facility. Technicians should be comfortable with:
Standing and walking for extended periods
Pulling and routing cable throughout large production areas
Carrying tools and materials
Working in overhead pathways and cable tray systems
Working from lifts at heights up to 25 feet
Operating safely around active manufacturing equipment and personnel
Required tools and site PPE will be provided. Candidates must provide and wear steel-toe or composite-toe boots and appropriate work attire.
