Division Description
ITW Deltar Fasteners serves all the major OEMs and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners totaling approximately $200M in revenues. Units include: Frankfort, IL; Chippewa Falls, WI and our Commercial Sales and Engineering in Troy, MI.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Reliability Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department functions to support the manufacturing processes for product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Includes responsibility to supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of personal and outside contractors.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily work schedule for all employees
Development and performance reviews
Daily attendance records are maintained
All paperwork requirements are monitored and assisted in any customer, TS, EHS, or other audits
Mentor, Document training records, and provide feedback to maintenance personnel to ensure staff are trained, qualified, and improve their skills
The Maintenance Supervisor position is a hands-on working position that will perform as well as supervise equipment and facilities repairs as needed
Ensure the maintenance team complies with OSHA and all safety practices in repair and installation. Maintain training records for all items
Follow safety rules and keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Coordinate work with outside contractors
Create or assist in maintenance budget, AP planning, and LRP planning
Parts and supply monitoring
Parts ordering
Maintenance team leadership to include hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
Develop, implement, and track preventative maintenance programs.
The supervisor's work schedule often includes a standard 40-hour week but requires flexibility for on-call emergencies related to facility and equipment needs. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays if the facility is running.
Creation of work instructions and best practices for the maintenance team
Assist in facility and automation project planning and implementation
Manage and own the CMMS for the facility (Fiix)
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Position Skills and Experience Requirements

2 year Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanic/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge of HVAC, Chiller, and Compressed air systems
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Excellent organization and human relation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to the quality of work detail
Computer, electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills a plus
Minimum of 3- 5 years of work experience or exposure to Automation/Robotics
Able to function independently, exercising independent judgment and decision making within his/her level of authority
Hands on experience with PLC equipment
Hands on experience with operations and programming, robotics, and vision systems
Personal computer literacy/experience, including proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and CMMS systems
Compensation Information:
$102,000-$107,000
