About Sims HD Heavy Moving Solutions

Who We Are SimsHD is a Tampa, Florida-based heavy hauling, rigging, and construction hoist company. We share a family legacy and a name with Sims Crane & Equipment, but SimsHD is a separate business — our own team, our own equipment, and our own focus: transporting, lifting, and placing the heavy, high-value equipment that keeps Florida’s industries moving. From hauling oversized industrial machinery across the state to rigging a delicate piece of equipment into a tight space, our crews specialize in the jobs that demand precision as much as horsepower. Operating out of our Tampa headquarters, SimsHD works on projects throughout Florida — and we’re growing.

The SimsHD Operating Tenets Every job we take on, and everyone we hire, is measured against six tenets that guide how we work:

1. If it isn’t safe, it isn’t successful. No job is worth an injury — safety comes before schedule, every time.

2. We do the job right the first time. Preparation and precision are how we protect our customers’ equipment and our reputation.

3. Everyone owns the result. From the driver to the rigger to the project lead, every person on a SimsHD job is responsible for the outcome.

4. Experience matters — we learn from each other. Our best training comes from crew members who’ve been doing this for years, teaching the ones just getting started.

5. Our name goes on every job. We treat every project like our name is on the invoice, because it is.

6. Strong results come from strong people. We invest in our team because the quality of our work starts with the quality of our people.
