Required Qualifications
At least 1+ year of commercial cabling, construction, electrical, or low voltage experience
Experience pulling cable, fiber, or wire in commercial environments
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as project needs require
Preferred Qualifications
Fiber optic installation knowledge
Cat5e/Cat6 termination experience
Network equipment installation experience
Data center experience
Blueprint or construction drawing interpretation
Job Responsibilities
As a Data Center Cable Technician, you will support the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems within large-scale data center environments.
Responsibilities include:
Pulling, routing, and dressing copper and fiber optic cable
Installing cable tray, wireway, buss duct, and supporting infrastructure
Building telecommunications and network closets
Mounting racks, patch panels, cross-connects, and equipment hardware
Installing and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
Assisting with fiber optic installations and connectivity
Installing grounding and bonding systems for equipment and racks
Reading and following blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
Maintaining quality and safety standards on active construction sites
Operating hand and power tools, including cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and other installation equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
