Technologies is seeking career-minded Cable Technicians to join its growing Charleston team. Following the acquisition of Premiere Communications, Instrata continues to expand its Structured Cabling, Cellular Enhancement, A/V, Security, and Data Center services throughout the Southeast.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with cable installation experience who are looking for long-term career growth within the low-voltage industry. The team values strong work ethic, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

What You'll Do:

-Pull, route, label, terminate, and punch down low-voltage/data cabling in commercial environments

-Work on new construction and renovation projects in schools, hospitals, and other commercial facilities

-Assist with testing and troubleshooting cabling installations

-Learn and develop skills in Access Control, Security Systems, and Audio/Visual installations

-Follow quality standards and ensure work is completed safely and professionally

-Deliver exceptional customer service while working alongside technicians, project teams, and customers

What We're Looking For:

-Previous experience working with structured cabling or low-voltage systems preferred

-Knowledge of pulling, terminating, and dressing cable

-Strong work history demonstrating reliability and commitment

-Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

-Ability to work in commercial construction environments

-Career-focused individuals looking to grow within a stable organization

-Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and customer service

Travel & Schedule:

-Approximately 80-90% of work is based in the Charleston area

-Occasional travel (10-20%) to Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, Florence, or other regional project locations

-Typical schedules include either four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday) or five 8-hour days (Monday-Friday), depending on project assignment

-Overtime opportunities may be available based on project needs

-Some evening or shift work may be required, particularly for hospital projects where work must be completed during off-hours

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanahan, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
