Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a growing generator and power solutions company. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, helping coordinate service needs, answer questions, schedule appointments, and ensure a positive customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
Assist customers with service requests, questions, scheduling, and general inquiries.
Schedule maintenance, inspections, repairs, and other service appointments.
Coordinate with field technicians and internal teams to ensure customer needs are addressed.
Provide updates to customers regarding service appointments, repairs, and timelines.
Enter and maintain accurate customer and service information in company systems.
Follow up with customers regarding completed work, outstanding issues, and future service needs.
Assist with resolving customer concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
Prepare or assist with service documentation, work orders, and basic invoicing.
Maintain a high level of professionalism while handling multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
2+ years of customer service, administrative, dispatch, scheduling, or related experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable answering a high volume of phone calls and speaking with customers throughout the day.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new computer systems and software.
Ability to accurately enter customer information, service details, and other documentation.
Previous experience in a service-based, construction, HVAC, electrical, generator, or technical environment is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and field service technicians.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
