About the job:

As an OSP Installer, you will be responsible for the hands-on installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure within a data center environment. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You will work closely under the guidance of senior technicians and leads, performing tasks such as pulling and terminating copper and fiber cables, installing ladder racks, seismic bracing, and network equipment, as well as labeling and testing connections. A strong understanding of wiring schemes, job floor plans, and telecom tools is essential, along with the ability to maintain data center cleanliness and follow industry best practices.

Please note this is an OSP (Outside) Installer Position

What You'll Do:

- Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

- Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.

- Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.

- Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

- Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

- Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

- Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.

- Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

What You'll Need:

· Pullall types of low voltage cable including copper telecom cable

· Performingall types of copper field terminations

· Installladder racking and seismic bracing

· Patchnetwork equipment

· Readand Understand Port Maps/Matrices

· Readand understand job floor plan and TC drawings

· Shouldunderstand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.

· AffixingLabels to cabling and Power Cords

· Affixbar coding to equipment

· Affixfree printed label

· Cutand install threaded rod

· Cutand install Uni-strut

· Cutand install fiber trough

· Create/testBonding whips, straps, and connections

· Understandthe basics of \"FIM\" and operate scanner

· Installand test coax cabling (series 6 & 11)

· InstallOSP cables through conduits and maintenance

· Installpull strings through conduits, in ceilings

· InstallISP cables through conduits, in ceilings,

· Installbox eliminators (mud rings) in drywall

· Howto install/maintain firestopping

· Understanding/Usageof fiber types (SM/MM/Ribbon)

· Installand Service Network Equipment

· InstallISP/OSP into cable enclosures (OSE)

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The starting pay for the Data Center Installer position is $24.00 hourly to $29.00 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
