Responsibilities

As a Coax Splicer Foreman , you will have the chance to develop your management and leadership skills as you lead a team of Coax Splicers who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Give direction to multiple crews and their job site activities

• Develop your team's skillset and knowledge of telecom construction

• Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers

• Lead by example and support the company-wide safety culture

• Drive your team to meet deadlines and produce quality projects

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable

• Manage all aspects of jobsite construction

• Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment

• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity

• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)

• Read the CATV telecommunication design and prints

• Work in outdoor utility construction sites

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety is a value you live by

• You have 3+ years of splicing and sweeping

• Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team

• You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck

• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work

• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality

• You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime

• You have a valid driver's license (Applicants are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)

MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, and 5699 relate well to this position.

Compensation of $32-$38 per hour.
