Overview

We are seeking motivated and dependable Entry-Level Data Center Technicians to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and experience in physically demanding environments who are looking to build a career in telecommunications and data center infrastructure.

No extensive telecom experience is required. We are looking for candidates who are trainable, reliable, and eager to learn. Attendance, dependability, and a commitment to safety are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route low-voltage cabling throughout the data center

• Assist with installing, assembling, and securing equipment racks

• Stack and drill racks together according to project specifications

• Label cables, equipment, and infrastructure components

• Perform cable termination and porting activities

• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Support installation and infrastructure projects within the data center environment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow project schedules, procedures, and safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in a physically demanding role such as construction, warehouse, electrical work, military service, landscaping, or similar environments

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cable pulling or structured cabling

• Knowledge of Cat5 and Cat6 cabling

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Exposure to data center environments

• Background in low-voltage electrical work, telecommunications, or hardware installation

• Military experience is highly valued

This is a Contract position based out of West Memphis, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
