Title: Work Order Coordinator
Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Hybrid, Austintown, OH
Pay: $18/hour
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a fast-paced service response operation for a construction and contractor environment in Ohio. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, coordinating service activity, and keeping work orders moving from request through completion. In this role, you will communicate with clients, vendors, and field technicians, resolve issues quickly, and ensure service requests are handled accurately and efficiently across a high-volume, team-driven setting.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound service inquiries from customers, clients, vendors, and technicians while providing timely and attentive support.
Manage work orders from initial intake through final closure, ensuring updates are documented and communicated throughout the process.
Dispatch service requests to subcontractors and vendor partners based on service needs, timing expectations, and established procedures.
Coordinate repair visits, inspections, and maintenance activity for client locations, confirming scheduling details and site access requirements.
Monitor open requests closely, follow up on approvals, parts availability, and estimated arrival times, and escalate urgent issues when necessary.
Support technicians in the field by confirming dispatch details, tracking check-in and check-out activity, and assisting with access or service-related obstacles.
Maintain accurate information across multiple systems, prepare reports as needed, and complete administrative tasks related to service operations and billing support.
Work with internal departments to resolve problems, improve response quality, and help ensure service delivery meets client expectations.ro
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional college education is preferred.
Availability to work a variety of shifts in a 24/7 service environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate multiple computer-based systems.
Prior experience in customer service, call center support, order entry, or a facilities-related service setting is preferred.
Strong data entry accuracy and solid administrative or clerical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized under pressure, and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented, customer-focused approach.
