About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician Supervisor to join a team at a newly established distribution facility in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead maintenance technicians across assigned shifts.
Plan, assign, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, conveyor systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility systems.
Ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency while minimizing downtime.
Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations and facility leadership.
Monitor work quality, productivity, and compliance with safety regulations.
Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or automated facility environment.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
Experience troubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and controls.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible 10-12 hour shifts, including day or night schedules.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.
