Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to support a telecommunications infrastructure project in Tucson, AZ. This individual will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic cabling, as well as building and supporting telecom closets, racks, patch panels, and related network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, structured cabling installations, reading blueprints, and working in construction or data center environments. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in physically demanding environments

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, low-voltage, or a related technical field.
Experience installing and terminating Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cable.
Fiber optic installation, termination, and testing experience.
Knowledge of patch panels, racks, cross-connects, and telecom closets.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documentation.
Understanding of telecommunications color codes.
Experience using cable testers and troubleshooting cabling issues.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
Must have reliable transportation to the job site. U.S. citizenship required due to customer badging requirements.
