Front End Loader Operator

Pay: $25-$32/hr

Position Overview

A growing underground utility construction company is seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator to support underground utility installation projects. This is a long-term opportunity offering steady work, competitive pay, and the chance to work on essential infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders safely and efficiently on utility construction sites.

• Load, move, and distribute dirt, rock, pipe, and other materials.

• Perform backfilling around underground utilities according to project specifications.

• Complete back dragging and final grading work.

• Assist crews with underground pipe installation activities.

• Operate additional equipment such as excavators and backhoes when needed.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front end loader operating experience.

• Experience working on underground utility or underground pipe projects.

• Ability to perform accurate backfilling and finish grading.

• Experience with wheel loaders and other heavy equipment.

• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.

Preferred Experience

• Backhoe and excavator operation.

• Underground utility installation.

• Site grading and earthmoving.

• Working in varying jobsite conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
