Under the direction of the Senior Director, Development & Construction, this position will oversee various vital functions of the Engineering and Construction Department. This position will be responsible for assisting in procuring professional and construction services, furniture, and equipment from contractors, vendors and suppliers. This will include tracking the contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for our various vendors at a project level and coordinating activities with the Contracts, Procurement, and Accounting departments. They will also assist in reviewing project budgetary spreadsheets daily to ensure all entries are recorded in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for managing the Project Management Information System (PMIS) utilized by the department. Work includes creating and managing workflows and monitoring tasks to ensure items are addressed in timely manner and assists in preparing reports to other departments and Valleywise Health leadership. This position will serve as an administrative liaison with our software vendor to implement changes and resolve issues. This position will also have other tasks assigned as needed for the function of the department, including supporting space management, new furniture installation and warranty tracking, and staff relocations.
Hourly Pay Range: $28.08 - $41.42
Qualifications
Education:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Construction Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
Experience:

Requires at least two (2) years of experience, five (5) preferred, working in a construction management or similar field, preferably in a public sector or healthcare system that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Specialized Training:

Prefers PMIS Administrator training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of the department's computerized Project Management Information System, or similar system, is strongly preferred.
