We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our MDU team. In this role you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day quality operations of team members including client build and quality requirements, splice and testing review and closeout document review. You will also manage all MDU training that includes client driven requirements for build, splice/testing, light/speed testing and general MDU build compliance for the MDU program. You will also manage and perform quality inspections on vehicles and ladders and perform safety observations.

The Role
Manage all aspects of the day-to-day Quality Operations of team members including client build and quality requirements, splice and testing review and closeout document review
MDU training for build requirements, splice/testing, light/speed testing, troubleshooting and overall general MDU build requirements
Manage and perform quality inspections to ensure meeting customer expectations and guidelines
Manage, perform and record vehicle inspections on team members and business partners
Help train and develop talent for quality assurance roles
Manage, perform and record safety observations and ladder inspections on team members and business partners
Is the "expert" and "go to" resource for your team; spending time in the field to understand, improve and build your team
Provide development opportunities for team members by delegating tasks when relevant
Utilize strategic thinking to execute goals, projects, and plans
Complete employee performance management functions
Report and maintain up-to-date team and technician data to promote technician development
Verify and report uniforms, offices and warehouse are compliant
Verify and report all DOT vehicles and DOT personnel are compliant
Strive to provide the best customer experience every day
Conduct and/or attend meetings as needed
Ensure team members perform work in a safe manner, following all OSHA and company safety standards
Ensure team members perform work to the client standards and specifications
Positively motivate team to develop and nurture a great culture focused on winning
Work in a variety of environments: indoors, outdoors, tight and/or elevated spaces
Navigate a variety of terrains while managing tools and equipment
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
3+ years of broadband, telecommunications or related experience preferred
Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to travel daily and open to a variety of schedules
Ability to give feedback; positive and negative when needed
Strong desire to grow and develop team members
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to work independently
Ability to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and tools
Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)
Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time
Ability to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and tools
A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. Safety is our #1 Priority. If personal safety is not compromised, accommodations may be available based on previous ladder experience in a similar role
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving
