Data Center Cable Technician
Location: Gallatin, TN
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking Cable Technicians to support ongoing infrastructure projects in a large-scale data center environment. We are interested in candidates with experience in structured cabling, data centers, electrical work, low voltage systems, telecommunications, construction, or other hands-on trades. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on critical technology infrastructure projects while developing technical skills in a fast-growing industry.
Responsibilities
Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling
Install cable tray, ladder rack, fiber runway, and other cable support systems
Assist with rack and cabinet installations
Support network infrastructure installations and upgrades
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation documentation
Label, organize, and maintain cabling according to project standards
Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Work collaboratively with team members to complete project milestones
Required Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following:
Structured cabling
Data center environments
Electrical work
Low voltage installation
Telecommunications
Commercial construction
Industrial or mechanical work
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in a physically demanding environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work well on a team
Preferred Qualifications
CAT5e/CAT6 installation experience
Fiber optic cabling experience
Data center installation experience
Rack and stack experience
Cable tray or ladder rack installation experience
Experience reading construction drawings or blueprints

This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
