MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Communications Technicians to join our team in Guam, Australia, Japan, Philippines and Korea .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Validates the configuration and operational readiness of telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and radio transceivers.
Oversee routine preventive maintenance and ensure the integrity of physical wiring and hardware connections.
Manage equipment upgrades and coordinate with Functional Leads to resolve high-priority hardware outages.
Manages the daily maintenance and sustainment of communications hardware required for distribution center operations and logistics hubs.
Develop and maintain maintenance logs and technical documentation for communications gear used in theaterwide distribution missions.
Prepare site survey reports for hardware installation and supervise the setup of ad hoc communications nodes in remote environments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level
High school diploma and 10+ years of position relevant experience (a candidate holding a degree may be granted additional experience credit for the extra education).
Demonstrated experience in formal document approval and acting as a Functional Lead for telecommunications equipment maintenance and repair.
Midlevel
High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (a candidate holding a degree may be granted additional experience credit for the extra education).
Proficient in drafting technical documentation and following established SOPs for telecommunications equipment maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA Network+ or specialized military communications training.
Experience with the installation and troubleshooting of satellite terminals and tactical radio systems in a government or military environment.

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
