About Broadstaff
Broadstaff is a specialized workforce solutions firm serving the telecommunications, power, utility, engineering, and infrastructure markets nationwide.
We provide direct hire, contract staffing, contract-to-hire, project staffing, and workforce solutions for companies supporting critical infrastructure initiatives across the country.
About the Role
Broadstaff is seeking a Staffing Solutions Architect to help develop new client opportunities, qualify staffing needs, align with recruiting and delivery teams, and turn opportunities into successful revenue-producing engagements.
This role is best suited for someone with strong staffing industry experience who understands both business development and recruiting realities. The right person can build relationships, identify client needs, discuss staffing solutions, understand pricing and margin considerations, and stay engaged through delivery and revenue realization.
This is not a traditional high-volume sales role. It requires strong staffing judgment, consultative selling, and ownership of outcomes.
What Youâll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within telecom, fiber, utility, power, engineering, and infrastructure markets.
- Build relationships with client contacts, hiring managers, operations leaders, and decision makers.
- Create and maintain a strategic pipeline through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and industry relationships.
- Qualify client opportunities based on urgency, feasibility, margin potential, and likelihood of successful delivery.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, timelines, and business objectives.
- Recommend appropriate staffing solutions, including contract staffing, direct hire, contract-to-hire, project staffing, SOW, and RPO when applicable.
- Partner closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure job requirements, timelines, compensation, and candidate expectations are clear.
- Stay engaged from initial client conversation through job order intake, delivery alignment, and revenue realization.
- Build long-term client relationships that support retention, expansion, and repeat business.
- Represent Broadstaff professionally in client conversations, industry events, and market-facing activities.
What Weâre Looking For
- 5 to 10+ years of staffing industry sales, business development, solutions, or revenue-focused experience.
- Proven experience generating staffing revenue through direct hire, contract staffing, contract-to-hire, RPO, SOW, project staffing, or related workforce solutions.
- Experience creating new client opportunities, not only managing established accounts.
- Strong understanding of staffing economics, including gross profit, revenue versus margin, bill rate/pay rate relationships, fill ratios, time-to-fill, and opportunity qualification.
- Experience working directly with hiring managers, client stakeholders, recruiters, and delivery teams.
- Strong consultative selling, discovery, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and business development opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in telecom, fiber, broadband, utility, power, engineering, construction, or infrastructure staffing.
- Experience selling workforce solutions, project staffing, SOW, or RPO engagements.
- Existing relationships or market knowledge within Broadstaffâs target industries.
- Experience in an environment with strong sales accountability, delivery partnership, and revenue ownership.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to create qualified opportunities, convert those opportunities into billable revenue, generate gross profit, and build long-term client relationships.
The right person thinks in outcomes, understands that not every opportunity is a good opportunity, works well with recruiters and internal teams, and values long-term client partnerships over short-term wins.
Benefits
Broadstaff offers a competitive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, dependent care FSA options, accident insurance, critical illness coverage, hospital indemnity coverage, employee assistance program, prepaid legal, pet insurance, 401(k), HSA options, generous paid time off, paid holidays, remote work, and approved business travel reimbursement.
