Job Description
The Swing Technician plays a critical role in supporting installation, service, warehouse, and delivery operations. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and to customer expectations while delivering exceptional service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Service (Approximately 90%)
Review project specifications, drawings, and work orders before project start to ensure proper preparation and execution.
Coordinate with customers to confirm project scope, work areas, schedules, and expectations.
Install products and related components, including cabinetry, countertops, windows, doors, and hardware, ensuring a high-quality finished result.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Perform service work and repairs as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance.
Complete all required project documentation, service reports, and customer paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment at all job sites.
Delivery & Warehouse Support (Approximately 10%)
Assist with receiving, unloading, and staging incoming materials and vendor deliveries.
Prepare and load products for scheduled deliveries and installations.
Deliver products to customer job sites according to established schedules and company procedures.
Unload and place materials in designated storage or installation areas while following customer guidelines and safety standards.
Obtain customer approvals, signatures, and delivery documentation required for project completion.
Support general warehouse organization, inventory management, and material handling activities as needed.
Work schedules are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with overtime available as needed. Weekend work is rare, voluntary, and only utilized when project timelines require additional support.
The position offers a variety of work environments:
Cabinet installers often work independently on new-construction projects lasting anywhere from 10 days to four weeks.
Window and door installers typically complete multiple jobs per day and work in teams.
Travel generally stays within approximately 1-1.5 hours of the office, and employees are provided with a company vehicle.

Skills and Requirements
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

-Basic math skills
-Strong customer-facing professionalism, as employees regularly work inside clients' homes
-Willingness to travel locally and work across multiple installation disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
Cabinet installation experience
Residential remodeling or carpentry background
Blueprint reading ability
