Broadstaff is seeking an experienced Tactical Network Planning Engineer to support large-scale telecom network migration and modernization projects. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in SONET, SDH, DWDM, DCS, transport networks, circuit grooming, inventory audits, and legacy network decommissioning.
Requirements:
Preferred Experience: Titan 5500, Lucent DACS III/IV, Alcatel 1630/1631, Cisco ONS, Ciena, Nortel, or similar transport platforms.

Requirements:
- Experience with SONET, SDH, DWDM, DCS, or transport networks
- Knowledge of TIRKS, Remedy, and telecom inventory systems
- Familiarity with circuit migrations, audits, installs, and disconnects
- Experience in carrier or central office environments
- Comfortable supporting maintenance windows (10 PMâ6 AM as needed)
