We are a growing marine HVAC company serving yacht owners, boat builders, marinas, and marine service customers throughout South Florida. Our team specializes in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine air conditioning, refrigeration, and climate control systems for vessels ranging from center consoles to luxury yachts.
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations, manage field teams, coordinate projects, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Position Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising marine HVAC installation and service projects. This role serves as the bridge between customers, technicians, vendors, and company leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically minded, and experienced in managing service or production teams in marine, HVAC, construction, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily scheduling and deployment of installation and service technicians
Oversee multiple marine HVAC projects from planning through completion
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Monitor project timelines, productivity, and profitability
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to company standards
Support technicians with troubleshooting and technical guidance
Maintain strong communication with customers regarding project status
Review job costs, labor hours, and material usage
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate production and field personnel
Work closely with sales and management to forecast workload and staffing needs
Develop processes that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of leadership or management experience in HVAC, marine, construction, or field service operations
Strong scheduling and project coordination experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and job management software
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
Marine HVAC experience
Knowledge of chilled water systems, self-contained units, and marine refrigeration
Experience managing service technicians
Knowledge of vessel operations and shipyard environments
HVAC certification or related technical training

Responsibilities

Pay and Benefits
