Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support multiple network infrastructure projects within an occupied commercial building environment. This role involves CAT6 cabling installation, testing, labeling, and occasional fiber optic work across various remodeled floors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, route, and terminate CAT6 "game changer" cable across multiple floors
- Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation to ensure quality and accuracy
- Support ongoing renovation projects, including structured cabling for remodeled spaces
- Assist with fiber optic cable pulls, including runs from MDF to various floors and select outdoor/courtyard areas
- Follow all OSHA and safety compliance standards, especially for underground cabling tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently during designated shifts
Shift Details:
- Night shift required due to the building being fully occupied during daytime hours
Project Scope:
- Multiple concurrent projects within the same facility
- Primarily CAT6 cabling work with some fiber installations
- One underground run requiring proper certification and adherence to safety regulations

Skills and Requirements
- Familiarity with fiber optic cable installation and pulling
- Ability to perform testing and labeling of cables
- OSHA-compliant underground cabling certification (required for underground portion of project)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in team-based environments
Availability to work overnight shifts consistently
