CBRE Direct Line, part of CBRE Data Center Solutions, delivers technology infrastructure services for mission-critical data centers. With a team of over 1,200 technicians, DIRECTLINE completes more than 1,000 projects each year across the U.S. and APAC. Services span the full data center lifecycle from design and planning through installation and build, and into Day 2 support, including maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits. Direct Line supports a broad range of client requirements and plays a key role in deploying next-generation technologies, including AI and machine learning infrastructure.
The Foreman will be a key member in our operations team and will support the delivery of all the OSP tasks within a particular site. This position will require the individual to have development, management, customer engagement, operational and overall leadership skills.
What you will do:
Travel to project sites as needed and support the onsite OSP Superintendent
Execute work in line with project schedules, direction, and priorities
Manage daily operations, including time tracking (e-Time), labor oversight, and weekly progress updates
Monitor project milestones, productivity, and overall performance to ensure successful delivery
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety standards, certifications, and customer requirements
Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and site activities to support efficient project execution
Ensure quality of work meets customer standards and validate project data, materials, and overall readiness
Support team performance by understanding strengths, recommending training, and ensuring adherence to processes and guidelines
Participate in customer meetings as needed and support both new deployments and live/production site work, including adoption of new technologies
What you will need:
3+ years of experience in OSP infrastructure installation, including Maxcell, innerduct, microduct, fiber/microcable, and related equipment, with a strong understanding of overall OSP builds
Proven ability to lead multiple crews and manage midsize to large projects in fast-paced environments, including prioritization, multitasking, and labor forecasting
Strong working knowledge of fiber and copper installations, including terminations, testing, certification, and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, with an understanding of local installation standards, codes, and requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project), along with the ability to maintain accurate documentation such as project records, build documentation, and lessons learned
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, deliver excellent customer service, and support team development by identifying strengths and growth opportunities
Solid understanding of safety requirements, standards, and key points of contact, with a commitment to maintaining compliance across all work
Ability to manage and maintain all required project and team documentation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, with occasional sitting
Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform cable pulling
Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems
Strong verbal, written, visual, and listening communication skills

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Foreman position is $40.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Foreman position is $48.00 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
