Director of Fleet, Assets & Driver Administration
Location: Lawrenceville or Alpharetta Georgia
(National Travel Required)
Compensation: $135,000 â $150,000

Overview
Broadstaff is seeking a
Director of Fleet, Assets & Driver Administration to lead the strategy and execution of fleet and asset operations across a growing, multi-state organization.
This role owns the full lifecycle of
fleet, construction equipment, and company assetsâdriving utilization, compliance, cost efficiency, and operational performance at scale.
What Youâll Do
Fleet Leadership
- Own national fleet strategy and performance (500+ assets)
- Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, and lifecycle planning
- Oversee fuel programs, telematics, registration, and compliance
- Optimize fleet costs, uptime, and efficiency
Asset & Equipment Management
- Lead enterprise-wide asset management programs and controls
- Ensure real-time visibility, inventory accuracy, and asset utilization
- Implement preventative maintenance and capital planning strategies
Driver Compliance & Safety
- Oversee driver qualification and DOT/FMCSA compliance
- Manage MVR reviews, DQFs, and safety programs
- Track performance, incident reporting, and corrective actions
Maintenance, Procurement & Risk
- Build vendor networks and maintenance standards
- Lead capital planning, lease vs. buy decisions, and procurement
- Partner with finance and risk on claims, insurance, and cost control
Systems & Reporting
- Implement fleet/asset management technology and reporting dashboards
- Establish KPIs, analytics, and audit controls
- Deliver executive-level visibility into performance and cost drivers
What You Bring
Required
- 10+ years in fleet, asset, or equipment management
- 5+ years leading multi-state operations
- Experience managing construction or infrastructure equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Advanced Excel/reporting and experience with fleet systems
- Ability to travel nationally
Preferred
- Telecom, utility, or construction industry experience
- CAFM or CEM certification
- Experience in high-growth or PE-backed environments
- Experience managing large-scale fleets (500+ assets)
