Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy wholesale distribution operation in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing order details, and keeping service activities organized in a fast-paced setting. The person in this role will contribute to a positive customer experience by coordinating requests, maintaining accurate information, and working closely with internal teams. Success in this position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound and outbound customer communications in a courteous, timely, and attentive manner.
Enter, review, and maintain customer orders related to services and installations with a high level of accuracy.
Coordinate appointment scheduling by working with customers, builders, and internal partners to confirm service timelines.
Keep order records current by updating information within company systems and online platforms.
Support daily operational flow by partnering with colleagues to resolve issues and meet customer expectations.
Use Excel and web-based tools to track information, manage updates, and organize service-related data.
Document customer interactions thoroughly and capture important details to support follow-up and continuity.
Deliver attentive service that reflects a friendly, solutions-focused approach in every customer interaction. Requirements
Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing environment.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and navigating web-based systems for data entry and tracking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Positive attitude and a clear commitment to delivering excellent customer support.
Willingness to learn new tools, procedures, and business processes as needed.
