Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will lead service technicians in the installation and repair of this equipment, support the team by designing solutions for complex problems, and manage projects.
Responsibilities
Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
Install and troubleshoot components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs and complete assigned PMs, suggesting any improvements needed.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, including automated conveyor systems.
Perform quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
Conduct diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling equipment and automated conveyor systems.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
1+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
1+ years of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles.
1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
Knowledge of MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
1+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment
The role is within a large distribution facility featuring high-speed automation equipment and mostly robotic components. Performance is tracked by data and numbers, although micromanagement is not practiced. Candidates should be comfortable walking 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 lbs. All candidates must be open to any 10-hour shift, as there are available positions across all shifts.
