Responsibilities
Manage daily aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, and support activities for Thales IFEC systems across global aircraft.
Coordinate with Maintenance teams to resolve aircraft IFEC maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with customer representatives during Thales IFEC system installation, modification, or reactivation at MRO facilities, ensuring quality standards are met.
Implement and oversee processes for controlling aircraft maintenance records and facilitate effective communications with internal and external maintenance departments.
Provide daily status updates regarding aircraft maintenance, delays, and issues, maintaining clear records.
Review and validate technical data instructions for accuracy and compliance.
Interpret and manage warranty issues and claims related to workmanship and quality.
Perform system operational checks and troubleshoot Thales IFEC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure customer logbook discrepancies for Thales IFEC Systems are resolved promptly.
Support Thales customers by adhering to company policies and procedures, respecting internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with customers and partners for all technical requirements related to Thales IFEC systems.
Provide concise daily written and verbal updates on modifications and inspection/installation issues.
Document maintenance activities following established procedures and report to team leadership.
Work independently to meet goals and expectations, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Collaborate effectively with team members and external clients, fostering respectful and professional relationships.
Plan and execute work assignments in accordance with company policies, procedures, and customer instructions.
Consult with the team leader on complex or unprecedented situations requiring specialized judgment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma equivalent required.
Valid FAA Airframe Certificate or equivalent, with proof within 18 months, or in the process of acquiring it.
Minimum of five (5) years of aviation maintenance experience or at least two (2) years specifically with Thales IFEC systems.
Ability to interpret and understand structural and electrical drawings.
Knowledge of Boeing 737 and 757 series, Embraer E series, and Airbus A320 family aircraft preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Knowledge of FAA Part 21, 121, and 145 regulations.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a results-oriented approach.
Ability to work within a team environment and support colleagues effectively.
Legally authorized to work in the US, able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test, and obtain an airport security badge.
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and the ability to meet insurance standards.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred: FAA Powerplant Certificate or in progress; Associate's degree in Maintenance Management; previous aircraft Maintenance Controller experience.
