Role Overview
Seeking DAS Installers to support ODAS and IDAS installation projects throughout Virginia. Work environments include university campuses, stadiums, dormitories, commercial buildings, public safety systems, and new construction sites.
Key Skills & ExperienceDAS Installer
2+ years of experience in:
DAS installation
Cable pulling and termination
Wireless system installation
Low-voltage systems
Fiber optics
Experience working with:
Wireless Access Points (WAP)
Central office environments
Distributed Antenna Systems (preferred)
Background in ISP cable or network installation
Troubleshooting and testing skills (DAS experience preferred)
Fiber splicing experience or willingness to learn (single-mode fiber is a plus)
Strong voice/data technician experience is acceptable
Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer
At least 1+ year of experience in low-voltage installation and basic troubleshooting (preferred)
Trade school education or strong mechanical aptitude
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and operating lifts
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
Travel Requirements
Travel throughout Virginia, with job locations varying by project
Ability to drive to the office or job sites as needed
Use of company vehicles for travel to job locations
Occasional out-of-state travel may be required, including multi-day trips
Travel may range up to approximately 50% at peak periods
Per diem provided; lodging covered during overnight travel
Typically home on weekends
Schedule
Standard work hours are typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, depending on site requirements
Occasional night or weekend work may be required for project cutovers
Primarily installation-focused work on campus and commercial projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
