Job Description
Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily shop operations and leads
a team of technicians to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality commercial truck
maintenance and repairs. This role is responsible for independently diagnosing issues,
completing and assigning repair tasks, managing parts and inventory, and coordinating job
scheduling. The supervisor also serves as the primary contact for drivers, supports
equipment inspections, maintains accurate work documentation, and ensures compliance
with company standards and training requirements.

Skills and Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications in heavy-duty truck repair preferred.
Prior supervisory/management experience and a minimum of five years of heavy-duty truck and engine repair/installation experience. These should be Class A CDL trucks. Must have managed a fleet of 25 or more.
Strong knowledge of welding, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and 12-volt systems.
Ability to read work orders, quotes, inspection forms, and instructions; perform basic math; and complete documentation on a computer or mobile device.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
