You will apply your technical skills and expertise to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our projects and operations.
You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor and you'll report into our El Paso, Texas location and work on-site out of West Texas and South East New Mexico .
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of building automation systems, ensuring that Honeywell delivers high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems in building automation projects
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to perform fitting tasks accurately
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all phases of work
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects and maintenance on time and within specifications
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures
The selected candidate will have to be available for on-call rotation and respond to customer needs.

YOU MUST HAVE
Be a 3 rd year apprentice at minimum within the local 412 union.
Valid driver's license.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures applicable to fitting tasks
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and repair work
Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
WE VALUE
Experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance within building automation or related industries
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or journeyman certification in mechanical fitting or related trade
5 years of experience in mechanical fitting or building automation systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Journeyman Refrigeration License
EPA Certification
Journeyman Gas Certification
