From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company's well-oiled onsite operation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Establish workplace procedures/policies; recommend and implement preventative measures to ensure continuous, uninterrupted service
Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, OSHA, EPA, HAZMAT, and Health, Fire; Life Safety
Direct activities of workers engaged in 24x7 operation and maintenance of facilities as well as shipping and receiving personnel (staff may include exempt and non-exempt employees)
Ensure certification of staff in all responsible areas
Schedule and conduct frequent inspection of facilities, grounds and equipment to determine need and extent of service, repair and equipment required and to ensure employee safety
Plan and administer department budget; recommend infrastructure improvements to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness of site operations; purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment and furniture
Direct, monitor and control contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications and ensure deadlines are met; may prepare construction specifications or plans, obtain advice from engineering personnel, assemble and analyze contract bids, and submit bids and recommendations to management team
Manage outside vendor contracts including janitorial and special cleaning requirements (building facades, antennas, data centers and on-air areas), annual maintenance agreements, fueling, painting, general contractors and pest/insect control
Represent the site at internal and external meetings and communicates information to senior management; provide project reports and significant operational data to senior management on a timely basis
Hire, train and supervise department personnel
Compile records of labor and material cost for operating building and specifications or plans
Conduct required performance reviews and recommends promotions, demotions and other disciplinary action for employees assigned to the department including termination
Ensure Building Management systems are maintained and operational
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two (2) years related facilities experience preferred
2 years of managerial experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, and receive minimal guidance
Read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance/procedure instructions and safety rules
Speak effectively before the organization's customers or employees, whether individually or in groups
Proficiency with the Google Suite, including but not limited to, Google Sheets and Google Docs
Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel
Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills
Ability to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Has access to reliable transportation
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance, with the ability to work a minimum of six (6) days per week or twenty-four (24) days per month, as well as variable shifts, including holidays and weekends; must be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $80,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
