Key Responsibilities
Perform fiber splicing on high‑count cables in active data center environments
Complete ribbon splicing, including spider ribbon fiber, on tight timelines
Prep and splice large cable counts as they arrive on site
Work efficiently to meet daily splice production expectations
Move between job sites as project needs shift

Skills and Requirements
Technical Requirements
Fiber splicing experience with the following cable configurations:
8×64 (minimum required)
69×13
Experience with ribbon splicing or closely related splicing methods
Experience prepping cables including:
17/28, 8/64, 69/12, 34/56
Familiarity with data center fiber environments strongly preferred
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of fiber splicing experience
Candidates with at least 1 year of splicing experience in any capacity will be considered if they have data center exposure and strong fundamentals
Ability to produce approximately 96-144 ribbon splices per day
Client values work ethic, reliability, and attitude; character is prioritized alongside technical ability Additional Notes
Large volumes of 288‑count cables expected to arrive and must be turned quickly
Ongoing cable shortages increase urgency and demand for efficient splicers
Flexibility is required to move between job sites as needed
Housing provided by the client
Flat travel rate offered
Technicians housed in Airbnb accommodations
