Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a field technician to work for one of our client's in the Kansas City area. This role will require travel to job sites within the downtown Kansas City area, spanning to Overland Park, KS. The responsibilities of this role include doing cable installation as well as installation of security, camera, and speaker systems. This person will be performing the installations at various commercial sites around the area such as schools and soccer stadiums. The ideal candidate for this role has previously done this type of work, with a couple of years of experience under their belt and will be able to jump right into work. Any prior networking knowledge and the ability to understand how network cables work together will be very helpful in this role. This is a contract position with the high possibility for extensions. This person must be open to either working first or second shift as the types of jobs may vary on a weekly basis.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years' experience as a field technician doing a variety of cable installation

• Has previously installed speaker and camera systems in a commercial environment before

• Networking experience such as having effectively done network cable installations
