What You'll Get to DoEcho Power has an opportunity for a self-motivated, substation-focused Construction Manager looking for career growth and new challenges. In this role, you will work closely with Engineers, Project Managers, Program Managers, and Site Coordinators to support turnkey project delivery. This is a field-focused position requiring regular travel and onsite work across the U.S. West Coast.Key responsibilities include:
- Manage daily jobsite safety, including toolbox talks, subcontractor safety documentation, and OSHA compliance for all personnel.
- Ensure required State and Federal labor postings are displayed onsite.
- Produce and maintain project schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Lead onsite quality control including safety, housekeeping, and material acceptance.
- Maintain daily communication with Project Manager, utilities, subcontractors, site coordinators, and enter reports in CMiC.
- Conduct site walks to support the bid process.
- Develop initial outage plans and coordinate with utilities and subcontractors.
- Provide weekly and monthly manpower forecasting.
- Direct onsite Project Coordinator as needed.
- Track and forecast site-specific construction costs.
- Conduct equipment inspections and oversee logistics tracking.
- Manage equipment/material submittal process in CMiC.
- Review drawings and provide technical recommendations.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and outage activities.
- Provide onsite presence during critical construction milestones.

Education & Experience Requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant construction or substation experience, or 6+ years of field experience.
Preferred Certifications- NICET/NETA certifications
- CAPM or PMP certification
Job LocationHybrid field-based role. Candidate should live within one hour of a commercial airport and be able to travel 70–80% of the time.
Pay & Benefits- $86,000 – $123,000 salary (based on education, experience, and location)
