Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
The Electrical Foreman oversees the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with applicable codes. This role plans and coordinates daily and long-range work activities, supervises and mentors field crews, and works directly with clients and project teams to deliver reliable and efficient electrical solutions. The Electrical Foreman also performs hands-on electrical work as needed.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and conduct inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
Complete a weekly Short Interval Schedule (SIS) with at least a two-week forecast of work activities and resource needs.
Effectively communicate and coordinate work with the project management team, general contractors, owner representatives, crew members, and other trades.
Forecast and order manpower, materials, tools, and equipment well in advance to ensure all requirements are available on the project when needed.
Proceed with work based on written and verbal instructions, plans, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate and manage equipment rentals to support project execution.
Identify, schedule, and facilitate all jobsite-related inspections.
Demonstrate strong expertise in trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, installation methods, safety procedures, safe work practices, calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
Interpret and apply electrical blueprints, internal shop drawings, and details with a high degree of proficiency.
Interpret and apply architectural, civil, structural, plumbing, and utility blueprints to support coordinated installations.
Provide effective leadership to direct and supervise a crew of approximately 3-4 employees.
Meet or exceed project schedules, productivity standards, and budgetary goals.
Install electrical systems including pulling wire, bending and running conduit, and installing lighting and associated mechanical connections as required.
Required Skills
Commercial electrical experience- minimum of 4+ years
Management experience- minimum of 1-2 years
Strong hands-on experience in electrical work, including diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Proficiency with electrical wiring, conduit installation, conduit bending, cable pulling, and lighting installation.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Strong ability to interpret and apply electrical blueprints, internal shop drawings, and detailed plans.
Ability to complete administrative tasks accurately, including timesheets, logs, requisitions, and reports.
Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety and health policies on the jobsite.

This is a Contract position based out of Reno, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.20 - $54.60/hr.
