Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and ensure seamless coordination with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of work orders.
Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls and assisting walk-in clients with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Accurately input orders for stock glass, shop supplies, and office materials into the system.
Track and manage inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and availability of essential items.
Coordinate and prioritize orders with vendors, builders, and other partners to meet deadlines.
Prepare cost estimates based on client descriptions or technical drawings.
Submit fabrication orders to the onsite shop and external vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Schedule client deliveries and installations, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
Manage accounts receivable, including posting checks and coding invoices appropriately.
Handle general administrative tasks such as maintaining petty cash, processing credit card receipts, and organizing data and files. Requirements - Proficiency in basic math, geometry, and working with percentages, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address customer and operational needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of construction procedures, work scopes, and specifications.
Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
