The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for the safety, quality, scheduling, and overall management of field crews, vehicles, tools, equipment, and related subcontractor/vendor resources within a Market.
In addition, you will:
Supports the attainment of the Markets Program Management Plans: safety, quality, financials, production, schedule, inventory, resource, and customer satisfaction objectives
Responsible for field crews, vehicles, tools, equipment, and related subcontractor/vendor resources
Ensures field internal/external crews are trained, outfitted, and available
Manages and reports costs in order to provide accurate financial data
Manages and coordinates professional, technical, and non-technical staff by establishing performance measures, goals, objectives, and priorities, providing direction and feedback, and ensuring assigned projects/tasks are completed accurately and by the specified due date
Prepares regular internal/external progress, project status, and problem resolution reports
Manages relationships with vendors and contractors that are supporting field construction activities
Management of vehicles, tools, and equipment
Evaluates overall and individual work performance of crew staff to determine effectiveness in providing quality products within time and cost restraints
Monitors time and dollar expenditures to meet established targets
Other duties as assigned
About You:
Minimum of 7+ years of related leadership experience within the telecommunications/construction industry
Strong leadership and program management skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal skills
Management, establishment, and communication of clear goals and objectives
Have job-related certifications like First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment
Organizational, computer, and communication skills
Must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW
Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with the company's motor vehicle policy
Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency
Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures
Must be fit and in good physical condition
Must have the ability to climb towers, and be able to pick up 50 lbs
