Job Description
This entry‑level role is a great opportunity to begin a career in low‑voltage and structured cabling. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands‑on exposure to cabling installation, terminations, testing, and jobsite best practices while building a strong technical foundation.
Key Responsibilities
Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling in accordance with TIA/EIA standards
Begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance
Assist with accurate labeling and cable identification
Learn and perform basic punch‑downs for telecom blocks
Support cable testing using basic tools such as Fluke and EXFO under supervision
Gain exposure to fiber cable dressing and basic handling techniques
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Take direction from senior technicians and supervisors
Schedule
Monday-Saturday
1st shift (either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 6:00 AM-4:00 PM, depending on the day)
58‑hour work week

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
