Aerotek is hiring a Cabling Technician with WEEKLY pay!

Job Description
As a Cabling Technician, you will install cat 5 and 6 data cabling, romex wiring, and low voltage receptacles and components in commercial retail new construction or remodel settings. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials at job sites, running cable over ceilings and through framed walls, splicing non-hot wire, and using hand and low-power tools to install receptacles and equipment. You will also measure distances for cable runs.
Responsibilities
Assist skilled technicians in installing cat 5 and 6 data cabling, romex wiring, and low voltage components.
Load and unload materials at job sites.
Run cable over ceilings and through framed walls.
Splice non-hot wire and use hand and low-power tools to install receptacles and equipment.
Measure distances for cable runs.
Utilize hammers, screwdrivers, and low-power drills for installations.
Essential Skills
Experience with data cabling and cable installation.
Prior construction labor or outdoor labor experience.
Familiarity with low voltage electricity, including residential receptacles, light fixtures, and switches.
Proficiency in using tools and tape measures.

Work Environment
Work in small crew settings with 1-2 other employees, depending on the job site size. You will ride along with a skilled technician to the job site, where you will receive direction on daily tasks. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgantown, WV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
