Job Summary: Performs in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in a designated subject area.

Qualifications:
Minimum: State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization. No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified, he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area. Experience with installation and maintenance of copper and fiber optic-based systems. Ability to demonstrate and teach skills associated with safety; cable types, tools, and connectors; twisted pair cabling; commercial/residential cabling; coaxial cabling; cable testing; and connection of hardware and outlets Must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives.
Preferred: Minimum plus Job Corps experience.
Knowledge: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.
