Job Title: OSP Lead Inspector (FTTH / Fiber Construction) â Travel Role

Location: Dulce, NM (Travel Required)
Broadstaff is hiring an experienced OSP Resident to support a 3â5 month buried fiber (FTTH) project in Dulce, NM.
This is a field-based role ideal for a telecom professional who can operate independently, oversee construction activity, and support field engineering efforts in a remote environment.
What Youâll Do
- Oversee day-to-day fiber construction activities (FTTH)
- Perform field staking and validate route designs
- Review and redline engineering drawings in the field
- Coordinate with construction crews, project managers, and stakeholders
- Track production, ensure quality, and maintain project documentation
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact
- Supervise inspectors (if assigned)
- 3â5+ years of OSP telecom experience (buried fiber preferred)
- Strong FTTH / FTTP project experience
- Knowledge of RUS standards and practices
- Ability to read and interpret telecom construction prints
- Experience with field staking and documentation
- Comfortable working independently in remote locations
- Valid driverâs license and reliable vehicle
- $25â$30 / hour (W2)
- $178/day per diem
- Mileage reimbursement ($0.725/mile)
- Overtime opportunities
- Potential for continued work on future projects
- Location: Dulce, NM (lodging available in nearby areas)
- Duration: 3â5 months
- Schedule: 5â6 days/week (OT likely)
- Start Date: Immediate
This is a travel-based role requiring full-time presence on-site for the duration of the project. Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote environment with limited rotation home.
